" And -- let's get how guys are hot sidewalk and Solomon Wilcox these CBS NFL analyst will be doing the Bears -- we solve an Oreo. -- thanks for coming out we appreciate it I know lot. I -- obviously Cincinnati when your former teams is a common opponent between both the Bears and Cleveland and the Bears just boy. I don't know what the hell haven't been in Cincinnati but it did it was ugly. At Cleveland had a pretty good game against them and they haven't had many good games but that one they were in and maybe should of won."
" Yeah I know I imagine you thought this team was really run around the cup ride with the Cincinnati game and then. With the Buffalo Bills game to game day. The long run I would like this team have been improving the last couple weeks it's. The moves to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the game that really worked in the closest the score would indicate. And the really poor performance last week at home against the Green Bay Packers. I'm sorry that he's now about cleaning everything up. I don't know the bears' momentum getting Derek Anderson in the beginning but the way things have probably given them giving Brady Quinn by the time the game."
" So Solomon the Browns get off to a rough start they dump Braylon Edwards before the trade deadline trading him to the Jets. What kind of message does that send their team do you think their team may be that locker room. Looked at their trade and said while management's giving up on us the season's over maybe we should start up packing up or some cases."
" Well you know really good about how well -- able to fail so moved a certain decisions. Through the rest of the team and remember they also got rid of and treated. Kellen Winslow and more. Training camp that the guys didn't want to see you in that regard every all the rumors are swirling that they're gonna trade Braylon that was it probably got a -- done it. We're -- a Mangini about it he clearly put enlightenment. And -- some players are good. What other teams they're just not good for a and a guy -- so that you don't want guys that are gonna do things went according to the way that you want them done and so he's -- less certain Montero but that's the same way Josh McDaniel -- Denver Matt Light and a couple of about the everybody knows how that's purely. -- to do whatever but it's a conscious. That it could likely pick the best players. And that they can get the best players and you don't -- to man. And over the post blog that bothered in the -- got a well -- that talent and the important thing. They don't try to take it but -- back the government felt that I think a lot of young -- just came to deal with it."
" Well you know its interest in you mentioned those two guys and obviously they got a common background having worked for Belichick but but -- the the the only exception to the rule of new. Which is the new coaches are struggling would be Josh McDaniels and Denver and they have been winning and it's been remarkable to watch and I. Quite frankly was found that unbelievable I was not expecting that at all on the but but I. I got him in Jeanine I I watched this guy. And I see that -- fine in the guy over the water bottle and beyond that the the the ridiculous. Game he played the beginning of the season over. Which of the quarterbacks was going to start in and to stretch stepping out and go through turn it into process is what he called it. I don't how a guy like that gets the job I really don't -- you don't want it reminds me Solomon. Of when you talk to people about Charlie Weis and why would he get hired and everybody would seek to -- to -- was. You know he thinks he's Bill Parcells he's not Bill Parcells but he thinks he has. And that that to meet a guy like Mangini thinks he's Belichick and there's a big disconnect there."
" Blues disconnected and I think at the end of the day I think no matter who would be young girl the contest to realize that. The plan about being an important part of the equipment and let it affect us get this. I've got to go out that brought them live and make plays -- and they're gonna make -- winning -- was. -- regret. This. When he needs a good talent that you job is to find some separation between mcdaniels. And managing the game and the tremendous defensive coach you talked with singletary got released schooled in the parliament might not let. My nose of but not coach Shanahan did not -- the probably. -- so that was the team chock full of talent Ryan Hampton. Ryan -- to a the most outstanding young -- to tackle in the game. I they've got talent on defense they -- down broad and leave -- like Brian Dawkins the government would read the complete coordinated and I think the Colts and and that would -- the players do matter. Suddenly it's I could I'd probably but I need to try to keep. Brandon Marshall on relationship hoping for the best receivers in the depth and I think -- similar situation wanted to welcome to kind of learn. We didn't give him a little bit. And -- one comes to me. I'd have to do problems accident and it was a big problem I don't he somebody that the record in those reality and that just how important players really are."
" as you know the Bears get off to a pretty good start three in one who lost their last two last won by 45 to ten score to the Bengals. Were not quite sure what to make of this team at this point do you think the last game was a complete aberration out of character for the Bears. Do you think that may be -- they have lost two straight games -- points of the fact that there are -- troubling trends. Beginning to take place -- that that this team is headed for May be a little bit of a downturn."
" Well I think you know wouldn't you know I watched the Atlanta game I watched it on tape I watch the broadcast states is well and yeah I kind of thought it was an anomaly and I think you know the best and you sit and troubling trend in the truck troubling trend for me. Particularly in the last two games a lot Milan have now lost to Cincinnati. That the home team to the National Football League that in my mind. That they run defense really defined from little rock and I didn't over the Pittsburgh Steelers the Baltimore Ravens then of course. The Chicago Bears defense can do everything your ability to stop the run. And because that's who -- identity that's what is that this team has been the problem that the franchise has no and grab and stop deep into. I thought they would knock off the ball. Against the Atlanta Falcons they couldn't run the ball down in the red -- that would knocked off the line of scrimmage and last week we saw that should become. Even more the reality is. The -- just dominated the line of scrimmage sit there and had his way and defensively. They were this stuff. The probably not blue not a lot of opportunities for Matt Forte would score being what it worked out. But they -- Run the ball they weren't able to protect the quarterback you get into trouble in -- and that have to stop right now because over the next four weeks after Cleveland. It's them as -- of the schedule and they've got to get it fixed."
" He Solomon -- CBS football analyst and will be doing the game this week and and I gotta tell you it's on and you know you settle out there that I find. I'm very interest in. -- that the line of scrimmage in the Bears have suffered some injuries. We know that they've lost. A peanut excuse me Brian Urlacher and have lost a piece that Tino he's Samoa and it hurts and I'm Becky cord that -- the front seven. But that doesn't hurt their defensive line. And Tommie Harris missed that game last week but he's not that the known stout run stuff for. They did not get anything and it defense why. Now the offensive line gets criticized the time but that game came down to -- letting a team score -- and it was five touchdowns in the first seven possessions. They had no intention of stopping him. It was the -- this thing I've ever seen and it was something that we don't seem very awful with the Bears. I guess the were arias the confidence is affected when you have that sort of a lashing it in yet to take."
" No value -- team to score in the first seven possessions of the game. You wonder if your team wasn't even ready to play a mean -- the team to the massacre. We've talked take place at Gillette Stadium two weeks ago when the Patriots scored on nine straight possessions against the Tennessee Titans -- think you. You will put put barriers in that category nor would think the Bears defense would. Would give up points so willingly. But that you look at Carson Palmer missed twenty of 24. Only -- completions five touchdowns and he can get sacked or intercepted the entire day. So I think you can -- you can he can point to. It's key because -- we just about made it -- effort has a lot to do look at it from the National Football League and you see that kind of dominant. Yeah the question the effort and I'm sure that's something that Lovie Smith this harping on doing this week of practice."
" Salman you know I consider u.'s secondary specialist because of your you playing background. That's a let's talk a little about the Bears defensive backfield you know no big plays from their safeties all year long. Quarterback play. Nobody in good spots a little spotty in spots not all Padilla always lost at least on a full fledged -- had a terrible game we have hit a terrible game last week betting Tillman played pretty well for right here last week yeah. Oh what are your -- what's your take Salman and on the Bears at defensive back field."
" Well -- I think they are struggling in the back that there is no doubt about it and I you know they wanna play a lot of solid what I saw that. I'm. That I could single out one guy I'm just gonna pick say the -- game for -- and that they run a lot of cover two though we were a lot of cover two dollar and you don't get pressure. -- I think it already continue to touch Carson Palmer. You are going to do -- picked apart. And so -- and Indianapolis Colts who have always run discovered to -- an -- everybody knows about the relationship between Levy and post Tony Dungy the team he built their nimby. There have even come out of that cover -- you can't sit back and that they can't stop the run and stopped at. The big ransom an important -- out. -- the fact that goes to Hollywood more pressure on the quarterback cause they would hold until that -- didn't spot the route and didn't kind of double move and open. -- about coordination of the defense that is about the lack of pressure. We always used to say in the secondary pressure leads statistics that look -- yeah you get no pressure guys. -- couldn't really the complete complete bust definitely opulent and that's what we got a I'm not true respect whatever they got some good players -- don't really like these guys I think that's fine at least I think they're willing tackler. I think they played -- cover -- as well as any defensive backs in the league but where they don't -- pressure. They're like ship at sea without a level they don't have a chance to. And I think at some point you gotta begin to disguise what you're doing covered just gotta mix that plays cover two. Maybe the man made some quarters of coverage you can't -- back in the day and won't give -- quarterback in this league. That same yeah. I think you're gonna stop it's simply is not gonna happen we get the deepest -- quarterbacks right now. And that ninety year history of the league you got -- shot lead the league and that's -- that does not Brady's batting. Do you got -- lets -- get into the deepest group of quarterbacks we've ever head."
" Solomon will got -- we we appreciate the time we'll look forward to that the broadcast on Sunday. I think -- really appreciated so I'll still cast the the CBS and FL analyst and you know. The and that's something we really should take to talk to."
